You may recall how about a month ago, I reported on being laid off from my job. Well, I am now happy to report that I've found another teaching job right here in my beloved Houston! Now, before I get too caught up in that, I want to just say something: thank you. To you specifically.
Hey I know I promised an update two weeks ago but this month has been really rough for me. I fell off my meds for a while and a lot of stuff piled up that I had to deal with that I just couldn't find a muse to keep writing until recently. I'm going to try and finish the next bit by the end of the month, and once that's done it should be easier to get back into the flow of our regularly scheduled programming.
Stay tuned.
Sorry that it's been a little while since my last blog post I was... sorta busy? Anywho, I was looking at some pics that I had on my old Devianart, and this adorable thing popped up! Pacifica from Reverse Falls! So cute! I drew this a little while ago.
When I saw The Cutie Map, I had a suspicion about the direction this season would go, but I took a cautious approach. But now it seems my guess has been confirmed. For, let me explain my thoughts on this episode in very simple terms:
The Best Night Ever has been dethroned as my favorite episode of the show. The king is dead. Long live the king.
I was not kidding about the CheesePie part, you guys.
So, yesterday, Gameloft updated the MLP app and I've been playing religiously to help with the community event. What is this event? Let me show you!
I have only one excuse for why the latest chapter of Regarding: Gary Stu is taking so long.
Dark Souls 3 went on sale not long after I posted the last chapter and that game is addictive as crack.
So yeah, I'd say I'm about half done with the newest chapter, sorry for the delays folks!
Title change time!
When do authors hate it the most?
When they've had the same one in their head for years!
I'd like to be honest with you guys. This is likely not the prettiest way to be making my 67th film review, but hey...as they say, not everything is all sunshine and rainbows.
This movie that I'm giving you all an analysis on today...IS OF THE VERY WORST ADAPTION OF A BIBLICAL STORY I'VE EVER SEEN:
"Noah (2014)"
k so if i get to like
500ish?? I'll take a break from this story and work on another one sound good?
good
okay
So I'm actually quite looking forward to The Rings Of Power, the soon-to-be cinematic series based on Tolkien's Middle-Earth lore. The Lord of the Rings is probably my favourite film trilogy and, while it's debated to this day, I really enjoyed The Hobbit series.
And there's something I feel I need to say...
I get that Amazon is...not a perfect company run by perfect people. I won't say anything else about that because frankly...I don't consider it relevant.
Wow! As I near my three year anniversary on FIMFiction, I have finally passed the 1,000 followers mark. I am, officially, horse famous now, and the 187th most followed person on the site.
If you missed it, My Kind of Crazy is officially done! So if you've been waiting for it to finish before reading it, now's the time!
The Worst Animated Movie Ever Made: Where The Dead Go To Die
There are certainly a lot of bad animated films out there. Foodfight, Norm of the North, the Animated Titanic films from Italy, and The Emoji Movie are just a few of many titles that may come to mind when you think of truly horrible animated features.
With season 5 over, it is time for people to release their reaction fics. I expect that this season finale will be fertile ground for fanfics for many months to come. I myself have some ideas, but I am going to try and push out a lot of stories I’ve got in my pipeline first.
Of course, there’s another writeoff coming up in just a few weeks, so maybe it won’t be such a long delay after all…
Today’s stories:
Colors of the Soul by Monochromatic
Greetings everypony! It’s certainly been a while since I’ve been active on this site, but this is something I’ve been thinking about recently. I believe that very few things in fiction are completely flawless, and as with any big project, (i.e starting a cartoon TV show) there are bound to be a few bumps along the road to success. In this post, I’ll be discussing my brief thoughts on the first season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (primarily the season premiere and finale) and how I
Remember all those times that Pinkie Pie randomly referenced human culture with lazy pun names in the show? Remember that time she tried to hold an entire conversation with nothing but the most painfully obvious pop culture references? Remember all those times she was more cringingly self-aware than the Animaniacs on their worst days? What about that time where she just randomly stopped, looked around, and said "I'm in a cartoon show", "I think that's a little complex for the target audience",
