Our minds like to work in extremes, it is easier to handle and sort that way. but our mind is also crafted by our own perspectives. Thus if we think of situations ad black and white, we might find another conundrum whose black option is much deeper than anything we had imagined, and whose white is blinding.
are then the previous options still black and white? Thought exists between those extremes, for the road of life is as black as the night sky.

Perseverance. A word which contains the essence of life. Life is but perseverance against the end, foiled by decay.For whatever may fuel a being to wake up each day, and go on as it has all the days prior, it personifies Perseverance.

Time flows, a river by the road. Though it is never seen, to stop and turn our head towards it, interrupts its flow. We experience it only as we continue to stride, without seeing time itself, we bare witness to all it affects. With every step, time has altered the road, and woven new life into our surroundings. What is then the point of looking for time, when we'll be the closest to its majesty, every moment, of every step, of our journey.

Perception and interpretation: Key to the establishment of connection, between living beings, and said beings to their surrounding. Two creatures holds different perspectives, yet if they share the same interpretation, they can communicate and relate to one another. Perception is grown from birth, the moment we gain an understanding of the world around us. Interpretation is taught, and lays as the foundation for our communication and triumph.

A human sees flowers, all in a row, they lean in and smell them, make time as they go.
A beast sees flowers, down their list, they grasp and pick them, leaving dew in mist.
Down the list goes, the judge reads them all, passes the beast a sentence, to lay down the law.
The human keeps walking, away the judge gaze, for crime is the act of beasts, abstained the human's ways.

Bitten by the story-writing bug, I seem to have been inspired to start a second story which I will be working on concurrently alongside 'One For The Archives'. The title is 'A is for Applejack', a play on Sue Grafton's Kinsey Millhone Alphabet Series mysteries, and what do you know? It's a mystery! Twas a guard who stood day all,
by the castle he was stationed on.
He kept watch from autumn to fall,
back to the cold brick wall,
and feeling, not very tall.

One day his legs would cave,
right after his back did gave.
So there he sat slumped without diction,
for his peculiar type of affliction.
Though the day went on well,
and not a soul could tell,
that the guard had lost his conviction.
