I’m back from Iceland, though I had an unpleasant experience getting home that involved an emergency visit to the hospital. Relax, I’m fine. Let me explain.

For my last full day in Las Vegas, I sat down for a single playing session... that lasted nearly eleven hours. I played in the $375 deepstack at the new Aria casino resort about a mile south of Harrah's. How did I do? Here's the tournament board when I went out:

. To top that off I am working over forty hours a weak
(I am not complaining about the pay checks but still!) So I have had vary little time to write and have only have about 1/3 of the next chapter done

Tomorrow, I have my final checkup regarding the surgery. While the tumor is out, and I am in remission, this checkup is just going to tie up all of the loose ends.
In other news, I will be going on holiday to see my grandparents for Passover. I'll be gone (and offline) from 4/12 to 4/25.

IN WHICH I STEPPED OUT OF MY BUBBLE
As I've mentioned a few times on this blog, I'm a fan of the Japanese metal-Idol fusion band Babymetal. Tickets for their upcoming USA tour went on sale this morning and, after a snafu that kept me from getting best seats, snagged tickets to two shows -- one 4hrs from my home, the other 6hrs. That's kept me from writing. Anyway, shall we?
I’ll be going on vacation there in two days. And though I hoped to maybe finish a chapter of Feathered Hearts—which currently sits at around 14.7k words and is likely to be broken up again for the length it’s reaching—I’m not going to be able to. Too much on my plate, and I need to be able to relax for a bit.
I intend on banging out a couple chapters of Foolers Rush In, maybe get to TSoP and try to write another one-shot themed around thestrals. I've done a lot of good work in the first half of 2018 and it's largely gotten me nowhere towards being relevant. A lot of things all at once! Well, let me begin saying... I finally reached 100 blog posts, with most of my later blogs being work-related and meaningful which I'm proud about. It's strange to think I've had a mountain of things going on, but outside of that, it's deadly silent. Not much goes on in my own little bubble on here, since I'm not in any circles or discussions actively. Anywho, let's make this blog post a doozy, since there's so much to talk about!
