Hey guys! How ya doing?
For those of you that care, updates on TIOCHS are going to be slowing down... a tad. So far, I've kept my original promise of two updates per week (even more if you count the intermissions, but I don't). Unfortunately, school slammed into me like a sack of bricks, and despite my best efforts, my backlog of chapters has run rather dry, and, to be honest, I have some more important things in my life than my shot-in-the-dark fanfiction.
Er, yes. I most certainly do. It's... very much clear at this point that I'm a bit stuck, I think. Not with writing, but with actually having time to sit down, catch up on what I have, and write the rest of stuff. I wish what I had was writer's block or a simple need to outline things because that would mean that I've had time to write and realize I'm stuck in that regard. But it hasn't been like that, and no matter how much I've wanted to write, and have been working toward getting the
Hey folks! I'm so grateful to all of you who've helped make "Reaping Rainbow" a surprise hit and given me helpful feedback! Props especially to my editing team of Reese, Generous Gypsy, and E3gner, as well as my best pal and illustrator Greenfinger for doing the cover art. Anyway, if you like the work of Sir Terry Pratchett and seeing homages to his work in your horsewords, well, check these stories out while I work on the next few chapters of the story.
“So, Biscuit,” said nobody in particular, “how’s 2021 been going so far?”
Edit/Update: The search by 'heat' doesn't treat story length in quite the same way as the Featured Box's full algorithm does, so the results are NOT entirely comparable. When I tested this initially, the Box had such a large proportion of Anon stories in it that any discrepancy in NON-ANON story results wasn't initially obvious.
Sorry!
I finished the chapter in time, it's been sent to my editor so she can look it over and tell me how bad it is XD Depending on what she says, I might have the chapter up in time anyway :) It is going to be short, but I think it's fine. Next chapter (chapter 54), or the chapter after that (55), I'm going back to mainly Jax, but I think using these different perspectives was very interesting and helped with my writing XD
That wave of kinda fluffy stuff I've been writing?
It ends now.
Enemy of Mine is coming.
Soon.
Really soon.
Super soon, dammit.
Alrighty kids, it’s time to talk about the company store*. I’ve been promising this blog to SirNotAppearingInThisFic for quite some time.

*I mean the tool truck.
And I don't regret it now.
I'm neutral on the original version of the song, but holy cow I'll defend the remix of this song in public.
I should try to capture that songfeel in horse words, but I'm not totally sure on where to begin.
Happy Holidays, folks. Here's to writing things worth reading.
“So...tomorrow is the first day of March.”
“Okay.”
...
“wait-TOMORROW IS MARCH?!?!”
“Yep.”
“OH S**T.”
I actually got advanced warning about this reading through Twitter, but yeah here it is!
It’s by Spinothesaiyanhog on youtube, but he goes by Steven1992 on fimfiction with an assist from Scribbler with some voices!
LISTEN AND ENJOY
So I actually finally got around to doing it. I told myself I would, and I procrastinated. Took the better part of four hours to make and a sleepless night, but here it is.
My first ever audio recording of my work. Feel free to bash it if you think it sucks!

I dreamt of these monsters again. For a second time. This wasn’t the first I had this dream, but it was slightly different from the first one, which was months ago. I don’t know why, but I don’t remember climbing a huge “stair” made up of giant statues with ice making it difficult to climb it. I suppose I should explain the world first so I can get a good sense of what it was like before the image fades away.
The World
So. Fifteen tips for y'all, straight outta the mouth of the biggest idiot this side of Europe:
Hello, my lovely readers. This blog post concerns Phoenix only tangentially, but it does get discussed as part of the overall subject. This post also gets into a lot of personal emotions of mine, and discusses a bit of family history.
BE WARNED
Unmarked spoilers from Star Trek: Picard Season Three Episode 9 "Vox" follow the page break.
It is. It really, really is.
I mean, you don't really think about it, do you? We spend so long clicking in and out of stuff where we can see that people have thousands, millions of followers and subscribers, and suddenly a million becomes the new benchmark of excellence. Some channels, you won't even look at them if they've got under a thousand subscribers. Because it all just becomes a number.
...making So Maybe among the highest rated Raven stories on the site! I just noticed that and had no idea that it was a Thing. So, thanks!
There's actually more Raven in the latest Enemy of Mine chapter, if anyone cares.
