Title: Fractured Mirror: Warped Reflections

Cannon Placement: After Season 3.

Premise:
Twilight Sparkle, Spike and the rest of the Mane Six arrive at the Crystal Empire to attend the "Princess Summit". However the ceremony is interrupted when Sunset Shimmer arrives in the throne room, battered, bruised and severely injured. She begs for Celestia to stop the seven Elements before she passes out, leaving everyone else confused.

As she recovers, as the Mane Six mull over the situation, Celestia reveals that Sunset Shimmer was originally her student before Twilight, however at some point she discovered one of the last creations of the great Starswirl the Bearded himself; the Mirror Portal. She eventually became possessed with it and ended up abandoning her study's in favor of researching the mirror. However during her research she ended up casting a spell on it, which resulted in her being sucked into the portal. Celestia tried to open it again to mount a rescue, but was unsuccessful. She believes that whatever resulted in her injury's will warrant the Element's power and immediately sends for them.

Later that night, Luna goes through Sunset's dreams while she recovers to see what resulted in her injury's, upon learning the truth however, she is horrified by what she sees before rushing off the warn her sister. Meanwhile back at the mirror three ponies come through it, knocking out the guards in the process. As the Element's are brought to the Princesses, two of the ponies ambush the guards and attempt to take them, despite being repealed by Shining Armor and the rest of the Mane Six, they manage to take at least one Element: Magic. With this they escape back into the mirror with the Mane Six (& Spike) in hot pursuit, by the time the Luna and Celestia return the Mirror had already closed, and they come across another startling discovery, Sunset is missing...

The Mane Six & Spike find themselves emerge from the other side of the portal and arrive in a bleak, desolate version of Canterlot, where the land is ruled by the tyrannical sisters: Nightmare Moon & Solar Flare:

The group quickly gives chase to the three intruders, only to find themselves face to the Element's of Sin:

...and finally, the Seventh Element:
Bleeding Heart (Princess Cadence): Element of Lust

Now trapped in a new world with no way back home, can they hope to survive in the darker version of Equestria? And what part does Sunset Shimmer play in all of this?
