So regarding the outline that Howitzer posted up, we only have ourselves (be it human or turn into a pony) and the pony of our choice that we somehow have to survive a game that aliens are using us for?

Seems kinda like (only a bit) Hunger Games (without the killing) and the Amazing Race.

Now for the real question;

Do we (as in the humans) start off with any kind of equipment other than the clothes of their backs?

Edit: No idea about this idea but maybe the characters could become other beings such as the minotaur something similar? Brain low on energy... become a manticore?
