That's because Optimus Prime's defining life events all happened on Cybertron, making a movie about him prohibitive. Bumblebee on the other hand has his closeness to the human element as one of his defining characteristics (way more than any Autobot, including Prime). Simply put, they don't have the capacity to set any kind of origin or solo defining adventure on Earth. His history is all on Cybertron or the rest of the universe.
