There was another fic where Vinyl develops a relationship with the G1 Soundwave - in wich the Decepticon is defeated and throw into a vortex by Starscream, I can't remember the title.

In another note, I'd suggest you to read "Equestria Transformed - Act I" by Lancewing - an alternate set of the live action film and, I believe, the author wants to develop bonds between Autobots and ponies.
