With gen 5 slowly making it's way over the horizon, it makes people wonder what type of changes they'll make (being how the mane six will be in it as well, only with some changes). With that in mind, I'm curious as to what gen 5 Spike might be like.

While we only know that Spike will in-fact be in gen 5, it'll be a while before we learn what he looks like, how old he is (I have a little doubt about it since we don't know his canon age in FIM), what abilities will he have, and what's his relationship to the mane six.

With all this in mind, what do you all think Spike will be like in gen 5?

Hopefully, still the Mane Six's best friend, but more respected.

I'm kinda hoping he would start out working for the bad guys, mostly because it was all he knows, but said bad guys would treat him like crap and would join the mane six as a result.

Sort of like G1 Spike.

Maybe he won't exist at all? I don't know, I'm not exactly a 'Spike fan' per se, but I don't exactly hate him either.
