This is a set of rules made by me so that I can keep the group orderly, nice, and all-round helpful. Please follow them.

RULES

1. Be nice to others. Do not outright insult anyone (except the admins). You may tease, but if asked to stop, then stop. Similarly, excessive cursing will not be tolerated, as well as any other rude language. It may be used mildly, but I don’t want to see cursing every other word.

2. While generally chatting among yourselves in the threads is allowed, even outside of General Chat (GC) and RP, please remember to try and keep it on topic. Any further deviation from the topic can and should be taken to the GC.

3. If an Admin tells you to stop doing something, you had better stop. We can and will punish you if we see fit to do so. Mostly, this is for all the small problems that I can’t cover in these rules.

Note: If you feel an admin has treated you unfairly, you may report them to the other admins or to one of the contributors. They will review the case and pass judgement. Furthermore, any admin seen mistreating others or abusing their power will be demoted and possibly banned.

5. No posting Rule 34 pictures anywhere in the group.

Punishments

1st offense: A warning

2rd offense: Banned for a day. The ban is marked down by us and remembered for your duration as a member.

3rd offense: Kicked out of contest/tournament you are participating in and a ban of about a week. You also get banned from all future events, though you can earn this privilege back after you have shown good behavior for a good amount of time.

4th offense: Permaban (Admins also add you to our "blocked" lists.)

Extra Information

The following is an expansion on various information regarding the group as well as responsibilities I expect you guys to uphold as you move around the group. None of these are rules, per se, but I would very much appreciate it if you would follow them regardless.

1. Please report any rule breaking to the admins.

Note: When reporting another member or even an admin, be sure to take a screencap of the situation in question. Since comments can be deleted, we can only go by what each individual says.

2. This group has an “Author Support” profile. This profile is where group announcements are made in blog form. Thus, it is recommended (But not required) that you watch the group so you may be informed when new changes are to occur as well as keeping up with current group events.

3. When I host a tournament or event, it often has a time limit and rules of its own.

4. If someone is being an ass or pissing people off in anyway, please contact one of the Admins; we’ll take care of it.

5. If you ever have any questions, just message me or another Admin. Alternatively, you can post your question in this thread. Be sure to look through the below FAQ first, though!

6. Banning is a serious punishment around this group, and is not something we take lightly. It usually take a unanimous decision amongst all the Admins to ban a person, and they are always informed before they are banned that they are going to be banned, giving them a chance to stop their incriminating activity. Please don’t force our hand into banning you.

Note: This does not apply to event-specific banning. Admins may ban you from an event such as RPing or a contest at their discretion and without consulting the other admins first, though it is preferred that they at least warn the rest of us. Or tell us afterward. If you feel an Admin has unfairly banned you from an event, please consult the note I have posted above in the "Punishments".

7. if you feel that an Admin has treated you unfairly, punished you unfairly, is intentionally harrassing you, or is being a big meanie pants, you may report them to me. If you feel that I am the one being unfair, harrassing you, or being a meanie pants, you may report it to the other admins. Both sides shall present their case, and the verdict will be decided by whoever's judging the case.

8. If you ever have any questions about the group, feel free to visit the "Author Support Help Desk"! We have an FAQ there, with several commonly (and not so commonly) asked questions and their answers. If your question isn't listed, feel free to ask it in the comments or PM an Admin!

These sets of rules, requests, conditions, suggestions and otherwise are subject to change and/or exceptions by the Admins.

I guess this is rather unimportant and I'll gladly delete the comment if you deem it is, but there's no rule 4 in the first set of rules, it jumps from 3 to 5 over a note

In rule 5, what did you mean by rule 34 pictures? Also, on the page that lists all the threads, it says that this page was made in 1965.
