An issue of Class War puts it simply: ‘[w]e reject the boring character of the so-called “revolutionary” groups. Politics must be fun, it’s part of ordinary day to day life and must be able to take the piss out of itself!’ 70
I think Chatoyance's take on politics in her works makes great fan reading for fans, yet there is sense of seriousness of situation (even at 1/100th of future she paints with nanotech and ponies we definitely have a lot of stuff to worry about - life in 1990x was much less ..fun in ex-USSR, and in many areas of USA - so having even this level of problem EVERYWHERE is serious problem. Especially if you/your today's kids are in their 60s and 70s ...). Myself is nowhere near even entry-level artist, but guess I better to do what I actually can as opposed to doing nothing. Like making those little connections. And keeping some spirit of ..ponies alive. [but this last and most important part is hard]
