Hey Guys!! You may know me as The Indescisive Nut Who Hasn't Posted Anything In Over 6 Months!!

Well now you can know me as the host for this contest!!

Horror at Twilight is a contest for Twilight-based Horror Stories!! Everypony's favorite (okay, I give, she's not my favorite, but I like horror stories about her) pony is gonna have nightmares for weeks!!

RULES:

1) Word count is to be above 5k. Just try not to drag it out too much, that way I still have plenty of time.

Also, ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.

2) Audio Recordings are allowed (and slightly encouraged!). Still post a written version, to be fair to the other writers, but that would also give me a chance to listen and save time.

3) Twilight Sparkle MUST be the main character. Whether she be an Antagonist, Protagonist, or Observer, the story must be centered around and following her.

Other ponies are allowed in the story, of course, just not as the main.

4) NO EQUESTRIA GIRLS. Sorry, but this is Pony-Only. If there's some sort of cameo for Sunset being written to via the Journal, okay, but that's about it. And no EQG Twilight as the main, either.

5) NO RATED M. Gore should be limited, and NO CLOP. If Rainbow Dash is chasing Twilight with a chainsaw and they abruptedly stop to make out and Rainbow shoves the chainsaw up Twilight's--

6) All stories must be submitted by 11:59, February 25th. If it's not approved by then, completely understandable, but at least have it submitted by then. Judging begins February 26 (I may read your story before then, but actual judging won't start 'til then). If you PM me and say that it hasn't been approved yet, I'll give it time to be approved; if it takes too long, we can compromise.

6) Please post all stories to a sister thread that will be created soon.

You need to have your story submitted by February 25th, and it needs to be approved by March 3rd. Although, all things considered...I may change the approved thing

When you try to mold a story to fit into some precise criteria, the story suffers tremendously. I need you to set my story free. I need you to alow my tale to be what it needs to be. Remove the 7.5k barrier.

Man, here I was thinking I could take it easy after the last one. Oh well.

I just remembered what story from like 5 years ago I could finish writing and publish, but that 5k minimum word count is absolutely brutal for a short story author like me.
