Ah. Alright. Makes more sense now. Hm, to be fair - I don't have any idea when exactly its popularity started, so that checks out. Though I'm pretty sure those working on it, expanding upon it, will find (or will have found) ways to incorporate parts of what the show presented going forward.

Oh yes - even the original author worked early Season 2 stuff into the later chapters, and some Crystal Empire and Daring Do stuff into the RPGs they played with people based on it.
