How big of a time gap do you guys think took place between the two installments?

Well, the timeskip between episodes and seasons are confusing. I think its about a few months between the season and movie since the Friendship Festival may take a long time to plan out. Since you know an event that size may take some time to plan out and get the right ponies for it
