Sometimes, the universe needs a reset button. There are only a few ponies who ever get powerful enough to, uh, "have it in their power to change that."

This group assumes that Twilight Sparkle, thoroughly exhausted from everything life had thrown at her, deliberately slapped that reset button and stuck herself in a soft time loop, of sorts: Her new world would be akin to the world she knew at season 1 - no real threats, no outstanding responsibility - and she'd live in this pocket universe forever.

While there don't have to be many hard-and-fast rules for the group, they should generally assume the same sort of tone and worldbuilding that Season 1 had - the group's meant as a bit of a nostalgia trip (going a little newer than that might be fine, but Twilight becoming an Alicorn again is definitely pushing it.)

Stories can be out-and-out Season 1 stories, fics focusing on a much-more-knowledgeable Twilight getting readjusted to her old lifestyle, stories about Twilight's relationship with her friends (and how they might have changed,) or what have you. They don't have to primarily be about Twilight Sparkle, or have her in it all along, as long as there's some nod to the original concept (being in a pocket of semi-frozen time, feelings that things might have been done before, that sort of thing.) Also, feel free to expand (or possibly rework) background characters and go crazy with relationship dynamics! Since season 1's back in full swing in this universe, there's quite a lot of the world unexplored, and thus quite a lot still possible.
