1. Keep everything appropriate for all ages, and don't put anything in the folders or post anything to the forums that's NSFW. If you want to promote a NSFW story, embed it rather than linking to it, as embeds do not show up with mature off.
2. News stories, posts about politics, and posts about religion should all be posted to the news, politics, and religion thread. Politics may include discussing access to weaponry, current socio-economic policies, major political figures, and other things deemed political by a group admin. Posts of this nature outside of that thread may be locked or deleted.
3. Otherwise, post whatever you want!
4. No spamming or trolling. Whether you are considered to be spamming or trolling will be up to the administrators of the group.
5. No personal attacks and fighting in the group. Threads with fighting going on may be locked and result in administrative action. This also applies to threads in which you are posting things that are controversial or divisive and appear to be antagonizing others.
6. Be nice to others. If things between you and another member get too heated, consider taking it to pm. And if an admin asks you to drop it, drop it.
7. Obey all site rules. This includes not promoting fundraisers, though other promotions are allowed, not posting links to full episodes, movies, etc, and a number of other things.
8. This group does not condone attacking, trolling, or harassment of other groups or members. Anyone who instigates or participates in such behavior in this group, or brings such drama over into other groups, will be subject to administrative action.

9. No posting fetish content.

   This includes foot fetishes, scat, vore/inflation, diapers, ageplay, furry erotica, erotic possession, smell fetishes and so forth, as well as anything that violates site rules, naturally.

   Mild sexual content (for example an anime girl in a swimsuit) is still allowed.

10. If you violate any of these rules, you will get a warning. Repeated warnings may lead to temporary bans, and then a permanent ban.

I rewrote these based on the original rules. I did cut the number of rules down from 15 to 8, though, and I didn't include a lot of stuff that used to be in the rules thread. My thought on that is that if you put a whole bunch of stuff in one post, most of it will be ignored. I may recycle some of it for other threads.

You can still swear in moderation, just like in the old group. "Keep everything appropriate for all ages" is actually word for word from the old rules. I did cut the paragraphs about swearing that used to be later mixed in with "Drama Will Not Be Tolerated" and various other stuff and promotions later in the old rules post, but that was more to condense things then anything.

I based that directly on old group rule 6, which said "6. Do not post NSFW content in the group folders or forums. Site admins have the right to remove this content and ban a member if we find it.".

Given that it does say that you can't post NSFW content in group folders, I'd assume so, unless Cynical, Light, and Doctor Grant want to change things.

That's the funny thing about revising the rules is that suddenly everyone finds out about the rules that were already there.

I just asked because despite saying so in the text there were a lot of Mature stories in the old group that could be considered NSFW and there are already some in the folders, I'm just reposted every story I posted in the old group in this group and I'm just asking because I don't want to get banned because I broke some rule I didn't even know about. Should I remove the NSFW stories I already (re)posted or should I wait for a response from the other admins?

Given that we're still establishing the rules, I'd probably leave them for the moment but hold off on posting new mature fics to the group until either The Cynical Brony, Doctor Grant, or LightofTriumph stops by.

It's not something I'd have too many problems with changing, but I was trying to stay fairly faithful to the rules that were already there.

(And these rules were looked over by 5 other admins including Cynical before I posted them...)

I just spoke with LyraAlluse, there is some stuff there now. I also told it might be a good idea to promote that group as well since original guild is gone, besides the NSFW stories can go there.

Not a rule update but it needs to be added somewhere permanent: A bunch of the old stickied threads have been unstickied on account of inactivity. If anyone wants to find them, I've added the tag "[Former Sticky]" to their titles to make them easy to locate via the forum search feature.
