A spectre is haunting Fimfiction — the spectre of Communism. All the powers of old Fimfiction have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this spectre: Author and Commentor, Brony and Anti-Brony, Ironic Shitposters and the Legitimately-Opinionated.
Where is the user in opposition that has not been decried as Communistic by their opponents in the comment sections? Where is the user that has not hurled back the branding reproach of Communism, against the more advanced debating users, as well as against their shitposting adversaries?
Two things result from this fact:
I. Communism is already acknowledged by all Fimfiction users to be itself a power.
II. It is high time that Communists should openly, in the face of the whole site, publish their views, their aims, their tendencies, and meet this nursery tale of the Spectre of Communism with a manifesto of the group itself.
To this end, Communists of various strides have assembled on Fimfiction and created this group, to be published in the International Language of the Internet-

In all seriousness, welcome to The Communist Party of Fimfiction!
This group was founded as a response to a growing concern among the officers of what would become the Party.
In the course of argumentative shitposting on many groups on the site, it became readily apparent that many do not have a firm grasp on Communism as a concept. It is the pursuit of the Party seniority that this ignorance of Communism be squashed.
In this pursuit, this group exists to accomplish three goals-
1) To educate the masses in the true principles of Communism
2) To encourage the adoption of Communist loyalties
3) To establish a firm opposition to Bourgeoisie Reactionary ideology among the Fimfiction political family.
Here, we can discuss, debate, bicker, and trade zesty memes, all related to Communism and other similar theories. In a way, you could consider this as some form of a Marxist United Front.
A quick note, in the grand tradition of Communist internet havens, it is our intention not to take oursevles too seriously. We can be self-critical, in fact we encourage it.
Rules
Like all groups, this one has some rules-
1) Be respectful. Simple. Be tolerant of all walks of life- sexuality, race, gender, age, religion, political background. This is not the place for such things. Now, if a discussion on, say, Marxist Feminism gets a little heated and things are said, that's understandable. What I mean is that persistent bigotry and hate speech is not allowed. Furthermore, attacks on other group members are not tolerated.
2) No shitposting, trolling, or being disruptive. Self-explanatory. Stay on topic. Trolling and shitposting have their place on FiMFiction. Disruptive behavior (IE- consistently getting the group off-topic, always making comments with little-to-no value or relevence, stifling meaningful discussion, etc, etc) will not be tolerated.
3) No promoting other groups or users. That is not the purpose of this group.
4) No defying larger site guidelines.
Each case of rule breaking will be met with an appropriate action, depending on the rule broken, and the manner in which it was broken.
A Note on Other Ideologies
In spite of its name, and in spite of the reputation of some of our more, er, strict ideological forefathers, this group is open to fellows of almost all political ideologies. We welcome anyone curious about Communism as an ideology!
Of course, the rules still apply, and you must leave your prejudices at the door. Be open-minded and respectful. You can disagree, but behave like an adult.
Alongside this, there are These Three Conditions regarding any and all opinions. If said opinion is-
A) Inherently discriminatory on foolish grounds
B) Actively harmful to the innocent
C) Based on misinformation that is the bedrock of the opinion
-it voids all ideas of respect and tolerance*. If the opinion in question is not A, B, or C, it's fine. You'll be treated as someone with a different belief, AKA, treated the same as everyone else.
* A Note on Fascism: As Communists, Fascism is our natural enemy. If you're a Fascist, feel free to discuss an debate, but be mindful that most of us actively detest your ideology. You, the person, will be given the same respect as everyone else unless you march on Rome like the brownshirt you are
