Sheesh! And I thought the African language was difficult. Native American names took some delving, I can tell you.
Thankfully Native Languages proved very useful. Most of the names are based on the word for 'horse', 'deer' or 'buffalo' in the various languages of the many native peoples of USA and Canada. Others are named after the previous generation and historical ponies who had cities named after them.
I can't promise I can do this with every continent.

I know the show usually has clever puns for various cities but I'm someone who has a lot of respect and attention for old cultures and languages so I have the native equivalent and the mainland pun.

In honour of the noble native peoples of the Americas whose survival through hardship and care of the land I am always in awe of.
