For any story that tries, and fails, to pull at the heartstrings. However, any sad fic that does appease a reviewer will not be put here. Also applies to stories whose character has a tragic past of some sort that is not well-written, and overly "dark" characters that come out looking just plain pathetic whenever they act "dark." Generally for dark and brooding blokes, but not all need apply.
