In It's About Time, Twilight Sparkle inadvertently time travels and eventually learns that she needs to deal with the present and to let the future take care of itself. The story contains SF elements and does an excellent job of contrasting Twilight's and Pinkie Pie's way of dealing with the world.

Prompts:

Twilight Sparkle is right. Time travel is impossible. Princess Celestia uses her magic to convince Twilight she has met future-Twilight as shown in the episode. Unfortunately, her student isn't handling it well. Celestia needs to intervene before something goes wrong.

Somehow Cerberus escapes, and so has Lord Tirek. How is it that neither Twilight and Lord Tirek remember each other in Twilight's Kingdom?

Instead of a future Twilight showing up in the Golden Oaks library, it's future Pinkie Pie. Will Equestria survive the epic pony war?

Extra credit: Include a clear-cut friendship lesson different from the one in the episode.
