PonyTec is a company in ponyland that i created. A little history on ponytec (still polishing other details out I'll just give the basic till i'm done.) Ponytec started out as a get together for smart ponies, most of these ponies where more like geeks and nerds. At that time PT as most called it (yes it is a reference to PT the game) was starting to get donations to help build a PT center point. As time went by PT started to bloom into a company. As time went by they kept growing in power.

Until one day it went out of business, or that what they want ponies to think. At that time PonyTec was holding back lot of tec simply because they didn't think ponies was ready. Their tec ranged from cars, ships, space ships, and all kind of other stuff. All this came from i simple thing portals.

Without portals they would have never been able to look into other worlds and study their tec. While PT has labs for all things, the biggest lab is the AI lab.

PT is located underground 5 miles deep. PT even has their own law-in-forcers in case info gets to the surface. They get the ponies that have the info and pretty much do brain surgery to erase memories of the info, which can sometimes result in death. It's just a minor set back, and most the time they can make a clone kinda like the original pony.

As for security, they have well trained ponies as well as robots and cameras. All labs have air-tight doors, and if the alarm is set off 4 blast doors will shut preventing anything to escape.
