What if, in order to provide everyone with the necessary software and such, we start a Patreon [hope I spelled that right] for the project? While I couldn't make it myself, I could help plan out what to write and all that, along with making a trailer video thingy to promote it.

Kickstarter is good if we want to just make the game and have it finished flat, like it's fully donbe when we release.

Patreon is better if we release parts of it daily (I.E hey look at this sprite we made! or hey look at this music, if you paid a certain amount you get a free download etc etc)
