I apologize in advance, some religious stuff in here.

This, my friends, is in a nutshell why I do what I do.
Because I was the one given the coat. My brother, even the Savior of the world Jesus Christ came down to earth for me. He was born for me, He lived for me, and He died for me. He died so that I can make right everything I do wrong. He died so that I could erase the past and become a better person today than I was yesterday.
Because of His love for me - a homeless, worthless child out in the streets - because of His unending, undeniable love for me I can be saved. And there is nothing I can do but tell Him thank you.
Thank you.
Is it not so wonderful? Is the concept, the very idea of parting with one's own substance to quench another's need not so beautiful? This is why I'm now the one giving the coat. It's that simple. I have been so richly and so deeply blessed in my life I can do nothing but share His love with YOU. That's right. The same thing He did for me, He did for YOU - and all of us. This is why, my friends.
