I'm not sure what kind of a story you could make of this, but I felt like the idea was worth putting out there.

I realized that the description of the title character from "One-eyed, one-horned, flying purple people eater" could also easily describe Alicorn Twilight with an eye-patch. Just change people to pony, and let somepony overhear her say something out of context that implies she's a cannibal (Like maybe Sci-Twi comes to visit Equestria and causally says she's so hungry she could eat a horse). Could make a decent comedy one-shot.
