No, what's a server? Like a computer server or just setting up the game itself?

In the game, you can set up servers to play on. You can have a maximum of 4 people playing on a server. No computer needed, but internet required.

4361031 first you need a 3DS, monster hunter 4 ultimate, and wifi.
After you on the Monster Hunter 4 main screen either continue your old profile or make a new one (make sure you complete the first two missions to get a feel for the game). Hit the gathering hall icon and bellow it you should see another icon. Hit the icon for local (if you are in the same room) or online (for anywhere on planet). This is were you need wifi. Once there you have 3 options, friends list (to see if your friends are playing), create a room, and find a room.
