Thomas sadly puffed along the tracks around Great Waterton, full of regret over what he had done to Stanley, and the trouble he had caused the other engines. He had made mistakes before, but they all seemed to plae in comparison to what he had done earlier that afternoon. The anger Sir Topham and the other engines had hurt him on a level it never had before. It felt as if they never wanted to see him again, oe Sir Topham would make an exception to his no scrapping policy to punish Thomas.
Thinking Stanely deserved to be number one, Thomas decided he would sneak off Sodor, and try to find a new home on the mainland. As he was thinking of possible locations, he wasn't paying attention to the old tracks in front of him, and started going down a very steep hill. Caught by surprise, he wasn't able to apply his brakes, and became a runaway. He yelled and whistled in fear, but his crew had jumped clear, and there was nobody else in the area to help. Seeing a pair of buffers rapidly approaching, he closed his eyes, waiting for an impact. Instead of pain and a sound of smashing buffers, however, Thomas felt a weird, yet familer, sensation envelop his body as a loud whistle sounded and the little blue engine vanished in a ring of rainbow light.
I am sure you can all figure out what happened to Thomas, and where he will be going. What do you guys think of a story like this?
