Just one down on last week, we have 12 stories to vote on this time. Nice to see a tonne of variety with the genres, too!

As of this thread's posting, you have three days to vote for a story. Reminders that voting can be done by commenting in this thread here, or by PMing either ToixStory or I if you desire to have a secret ballot. You may only vote for one story, and may only vote if you are a member. Also, I would like to throw in that up or downvoting a comment adds or takes no weight from said vote. If you support someone's vote, leave a comment.

The suggestion thread can be found here, and the stories to vote on are:

#1 Scale by shortskirtsandexplosions

Daring Do goes on an epic quest to cross magnificent landscapes, to scale impenetrable boundaries, and to transcend herself.

[Random] [Adventure]

#2 One In a Million by Ocalhoun

After years of trying, Scootaloo finally discovers her special talent.
It's the worst thing that ever happened to her. She'll have to leave Rainbow Dash and all her friends behind as she's forced to go off and learn about her new talent... and then it gets worse.

[Adventure]

#3 The Monster in the Twilight by Georg

We all know the story of how the Princess’ young student and five friends defeated Nightmare Moon, and brought Princess Luna back to our lands. But what if the tale were false? What if the young Twilight Sparkle on the event of her entrance exam had not been rescued by Princess Celestia, but instead lost her mind among the power of her youthful surge, and had to be sent away, far away before she could destroy all of Canterlot with her newfound power. Now the feral unicorn prowling the Everfree Forest only vaguely remembers her past, slipping away from constant terrifying attempts to capture her.
And she is beginning to remember what true power felt like.

[Sad] [Adventure] [Alternate Universe]

#4 In Memory Of by Obselescence

Dear Princess Celestia,
I'm sorry I haven't written in a while. Things seem to be falling through the cracks lately. Spike thinks I should go see the doctor, but...

[Sad] [Slice of Life]

#5 Ghost of a Rose by Noble Thought

The world around Roseluck is slipping away piece by piece.
When all that remains are memories and the scent of roses, a friend tries to help her hold onto them before they fade away.
Before she fades away.

[Romance] [Sad] [Slice of Life]

#6 Shades of Grey by Metaphor

During one of Rarity's many visits to Canterlot she begins to find herself questioning if the life she dreams of is the one she really wants. What caused this change of heart? What could come between Rarity and the life she has always wanted? Will she be willing to give it all up to help a single pony in her hour of need and in turn what will this pony do for her? Will she return the feelings that Rarity shows or simply walk away?

[Romance] [Sad] [Slice of Life]

#7 Off the Edge of the Map by Daetrin

When Rainbow Dash's newest trick backfires spectacularly, she and Fluttershy find themselves stranded in the middle of nowhere. Together, they'll have to survive and find their way back to Equestria and Ponyville...no matter how far the journey.

[Romance] [Adventure]

#8 The Proper Care and Feeding of Monsters by Cold in Gardez

Fluttershy's kindness to all creatures is legendary in Ponyville. When a freak storm blows in from the Everfree Forest, however, she and her friends discover the limits of compassion, and the dangers of living with your heart wide open to the world.

[Sad] [Slice of Life]

#9 Truth Be Told by obabscribbler

Pinkie Pie awakens one morning to find a strange lump on her back. She doesn't think it's a big deal, but as time goes on it grows and bizarre changes begin to take place inside her.
In Ponyville, something is stalking the citizens. Can anypony stop what's happening before it's too late and their world is irrevocably changed? Of course, you can only save the day if the danger hasn't found you before you even know it's there.

[Sad] [Dark]

#10 When Two Heart Are Daring by Pigeonsmall

Rainbow Dash wants the latest Daring Do. And she'll get it, even if it means sharing the only book in Cloudsdale with the biggest jerk in Cloudsdale.

[Slice of Life] [Adventure]

#11 A Taste of the Good Life by Eakin

Main Course is a successful chef and restaurant owner. Or he was, anyway, until a fire tore up his life's work and left him adrift. When he visits his sister in the rural backwater town of Ponyville, he discovers an abandoned building that's perfect for a quick fix-up so he can flip it for a profit. But the building comes with an unforeseen tenant, and when he lets her stick around he discovers that maybe, just maybe, there's something out there more important than wealth and fame.

[Romance] [Slice of Life]

#12 Whip and Wing by Fernin

The Medallion of Light and the Medallion of Shadow are some of the most powerful yet obscure artifacts of antiquity. Created by a now-vanished cult of assassins, the two devices together give their bearer the incredible power to walk the worlds with but a single step.
Nefarious forces are closing in on both artifacts, and very little stands in their way. Heinrich Himmler's agents covet the medallions for the greater glory of the Third Reich. Ahuizotl's simply want their master to get what's coming to him: the world, and everything in it.

[Random] [Crossover] [Adventure] [Human]

May the most interesting story win!

A Taste Of The Good Life, without a doubt.

To quote a famous(not really) introducer: I Fckin love this band fic!
:rainbowwild:

Eakin is hoersword prodigy

Hmm, I want to vote Ghost of a Rose, but I've already read it and have a bit of bias to it... Fuck it, that's my vote.

Whip and Wing, obviously. :trollestia:

3798433 The Monster In Twilight

3798433

Since I don't want to be tacky and vote for my own story...

Off the Edge of the Map by Daetrin for me. It looks interesting.

3798644 You totes wanted to :rainbowwild:

Jk.

3798433 I'll have to go with A Taste of the Good life because it's a lesser known story :P

Off the Edge of the Map by Daetrin definitely.
I will always vote for adventure first and foremost, (unless it's a tavi/scratch ship fic).

3798750 Compared to some of the others, I find it hard to decipher your meaning of 'lesser known'.

Anyway, I'll vote for Ghost of a Rose, too (since voting for my own suggestion seems kind of moot).

3798788 I forgot about "Shades of Grey" :P But I've seen "Ghost of a Rose" around because it was mentioned in a sight interview. Also, compared to let say, the Monster in Twilight, In Memory Of, or Whip and Wing, A Taste of Good Life is definitely less known than those ones.

Admittedly I don't like Roseluck stories that much so that probably played a factor.

Cheers for that. Your vote?

I would hesitate to call any story with more than 1000 likes "lesser known" personally, since I used to specialise in featuring story with <50 likes :ajsmug:

Also, my vote is on Scale.

Ghost of a rose for me.

3799334 3798644 Weird. I remember coming across A Ghost of a Rose in an interview or on the featured box sometime ago and I thought it was relatively popular/well known whereas I only remember "A Taste of a Good Life" holding 700 likes and not being mentioned by anybody. Maybe my memory is foggy. Probably is.

3800152 Ghost of a Rose was actually featured multiple times. However, being featured doesn't mean anything.:rainbowwild:

3800152 3800177

However, being featured doesn't mean anything.

Uh huh.

Okay, so... is there a rule about voting for the same story that you submitted? Because if not, I kinda want to do that and vote for Truth be Told. But, if that's not cool, then count my vote for Whip and Wing instead.
