Do you for some reason hate Celestia? Because she banished Luna to the moon when it was her own ignorance that caused Luna to feel all that hate? Because when Equestria is in danger she just asks the mane 6 to do all the work and does nothing herself? Because she is only a princess from her family, while other's like Twilight earned it? For what ever reason, you can let out your hatred torwards Celestia right here in your stories, or comments.

Star Swirl once said, "Once a villain, always a villain." He has two confirmed villain banishments under his belt, (the sirens and Stygian), and the wording of Rockhoof's description of Stygian's backstory leads me to believe there were probably more banishments than just that. Now who did Star Swirl mentor? Ah, yes. Celestia and Luna. Together, they turned Discord to stone, and banished Sombra. Their tactic was so predictable, that Sombra was able to anticipate this move and take the entire empire with him. Then, Luna fell to corruption. What's a student of Star Swirl to do but banish the magical threat? (Props to the writers for attention to lore and worldbuilding.)

Luna and Tia are (heritage)born alicorns, but there is no mention of their parents and (royalty)they are princesses because Starswirl thought it would be a good idea.

How do you know that? Celestia doesn't have a canon backstory. If it said she did inherit the role in that one Journal thing then sorry, I haven't read it yet.
