4449792 I'm in the UK, so one hour ahead of GMT. But no, the story is a birthday present for someone, so I really want that 24 June timestamp on it. I don't really want to enter that badly anyway. It probably wouldn't win.

4449803 Actually, MT is eight hours behind GMT. Anyway, I see what you mean. I actually was tempted to make the deadline a day ahead, simply because I'm going to have to judge the entries on my birthday with this deadline, but this group's got a schedule to keep.

4449810 Ah, I'd assumed that "MT" in your original post was a typo for "GMT". If I published at 1am UK time, that would be 12am GMT, and within the time limit. Whether I'd then be able to enter the contest would depend on how fast the fimfic approval queue was moving. I'll bear that in mind.
