For those who haven't read it already in an earlier forum post, I'm planning on a CoC crossover fic featuring an aged-up, anthro Spike trapped in Mareth. It will be featuring CoC based OCs that I've made up to fit into the setting and to try and make it more original. And Spike will be existing at the same time as the Champion of the game, though it's unlikely they'll meet.

The problem I've come across is a major one that's stopping the story from beginning:

I can't think of a good title.

I don't want something stupid like "Spike in Mareth" or something like that.

So far, the best thing I can think of is "The Corruption of Spike the Dragon" or something like that. But that's basically a last resort in my opinion.

Basically, if you can come up with a good title for the story, I will be extremely grateful and credit you in the description for your help. It would mean a lot to me.

The Corruption of A Dragon

For a title I might recommend something like "Corruption of the Dragon Champion", though that would be in the case that Spike really does get corrupted in the story. Others might be "Spike the Champion" and "Mareth's Dragon". It would depend on where you wanted to go in the story.

Oh shoot, that's a good point... I mean I will be honest here, I'm considering that as a possible ending twist sort of thing, but you're right, that makes it sound as though it's set in stone...

I think I'd also like to avoid the "Dragon Champion" and "Mareth's Dragon" titles because that sort of implies he'd be the only one, and I do plan on at least referencing the other already existing draconic characters in the game.

4139094 well the corruption part only means he will in some way change which is normal for any playthrough it does not mean that you will lose and the title i suggested said "A Dragon" so that voids the whole "not the only one" thing

4139099 That is a good point... So... "The Corruption of a Dragon". Simple but effective. Not my most ideal choice, but the most likely contender so far.
