I have to confess, I am bit unsure of G5 for two main reasons. First, it seems to insult the legacy of G4 by saying everything is crap now. Second, while I'm fine with diversity, I do worry about G5 going full blown woke. The description of one character an an activist doesn't help.

It's entirely possible. This is Hasbro we're talking about. Most TV networks that cater to kids now try to be woke themselves and push liberal propaganda down the throats of kids. Remember that "Don't be racist" PSA from Cartoon Network? I'm honestly expecting G5 to be a trainwreck. I've got a tiny iota of hope, but the degrading state of media has made me quite jaded.
