I remember when I fist got on this site there was an alternate Mass Effect story line where Humans ended up on Eques and formed a government with them. And when the time that they ventured into the stares and met the Council races they don't join them but instead act as contender in the galaxy. They also extended their hand in friendship to both the Krogen and the Quarians into there alliance.

I can't find it anymore dose anyone know who the author was so he can repost the story? I really would like to read it again. It's such a good read.
