There are quite a few options for playing online now Roll20 and Fantasy Grounds (some of you might not be as familiar with Fantasy Grounds as Roll20, from what I can tell they actually are more economically friendly for players) are the 2 big ones, and are decent for playing when everyone can properly sync up to play. But sometimes that will not an option, even if you Can play over Discord (you can even get a dice rolling bot for Discord servers). But when syncing up with other players isn't an option then you can go with a service like Role Gate, they're a text-based RPG service that makes it so that you can pick up and play in your games whenever is most convenient for you. Shameless plug moment, I'm running a few games there myself (one being a playtest campaign for an RPG I've been working on and 2 NSFW games that will hopefully crossover for a bit. One of the NSFW games has an open spot and the playtest campaign has several open spots at the currently).
