What can I do to make it my own?

Like, for example, John Mayer's guitar is his own and it looks cool enough to reproduce. I mean, look at it!

I know it's gotten the absolute shit beaten out of it, but that's what makes it so unique.

Look at Eddie Van Halen's. They literally call it Frankenstein, or Frankenstrat.

4104342 Well here's a few things to consider: do you want it to have a certain theme? What do you want in the look that says "this is who I am"?

I know I'd like something with an old sodbuster reaping wheat with a scythe or out turning dirt with a moldboard.

You can also spray paint it with your Cutie Mark or air brush it. Make sure not to spray strings they will rust and snap, trust me I've experienced it. Also what Heartland said choose a theme or not just put a few stickers here and there then BAM you have a trademark guitar. I have a Gibson Electric Guitar and it looks cool, put my Cutie Mark and themed it about war. I call her BattleScar. Note:Name is optional.
