I don't know why but I got it in my head like what If Trixie had a pet Zinogre (if you don't know what a Zinogre is I recommend google) and it followed her around and obeyed her because the Zinogre was surprise surprise a human that is just madly in love with her but because of the massive size difference ( Zinogre can be up to 67.6 feet) decides to protect her and be apart of her stage shows.

While Trixie slowly starts going mad with the power that this beast following her has and starts doing darker and darker things. Like taking over a random town or two and then she starts relying to much on Zinogre so when the mane six for who ever appears they can see that the Zinogre doesn't like hurting ponies but is fearlessly loyal to trixie
