Copy the GIF's URL and past it in the image tool and of course, like pictures, you need to separate it to its own tab.

You just add a gif to 'insert image' (it looks like a photograph) and wait for it to load. If the image animates, then you got it.

And while we're asking, a friend of mine just wanted to know how to add a bio to their profile.

.....well your 'friend' can add in a bio by scrolling over their user name (found on the top of any page) scroll down and click settings. You Your friend should be able to type a short bio from there.
