Here's some news for today. It's being reported that Fox won a bidding war for Gotham, a live-action TV show set in Batman's hometown. The show is supposed to explore James Gordon's story as well as some of the villains that have made the city so well known.

Warner Bros. TV and Mentalist creator Bruno Heller are on board to bring about a show where Gordon is still a police detective in the Gotham City Police Department. In other words, don't expect Batman anytime soon. No further information has been released.

You guys wanna know the funny thing? I literally came up with an idea like this a few months ago!!!! Difference was that it would be set in the 30's and 40's, which this probably won't be, but still this is uncanny!!! Now this is one time I don't mind Bats getting a show, when there's so many other characters that deserve one, since apparently it won't be about him!!!!! Mainly anyway.
