My first MLP Fanfiction, and a crossover that sees Sunset head to Equestria having been called by the Friendship map. However, all is not as it seems as she's soon whisked though time to meet another generation of ponies in the future.

What if circumstances conspired to prevent Sunset from absconding into humanside, and instead gave her a second chance in ponyside under a different Princess?

Acting Princess Cadance does things differently than Celestia did. She only mostly knows what she's doing, but at least she's honest and she's not trying to make Sunset make friends. Sunset can work with this.

She might have a harder time with the candidates for Princess Cadance's implementation of one of Celestia's plans for national security. These mares may or may not have been the cream of the crop at Princess Amore's Crystal Memorial Preparatory Academy when they attended, but they're also antisocial, rude, opportunistic, a little bit neurotic, and snobby as all hay.

But so is Sunset.
