Premise:
The resurrection of Nightmare Moon went almost as planned, but due to the Princess' interrupting and Dusk Shine's blood being used in the ritual, Nightmare Moon was reborn... as a young colt named Nox.

After finding Nox and taking him home, Dusk is visited in his dreams by Princess Luna, who shows concern for him due to his recent kidnapping. Upon telling her about the young Alicorn that he found in the forest she becomes suspicious and demands to him personally.Upon meeting him however she sees a lot of herself in the colt and decides to let him continue living under the care of Dusk Shine. She also states that she will visit on occasion in order to keep an eye on him, although Dusk makes her promise to keep Nox a secret from everypony.

Over time they end up forming a parental bond with the young Alicorn, to the point where he even refers to them as his Mommy and Daddy. And (un)fortunately for Nox, he ends up taking after his father and ends up gaining the affections of the CMC, Diamond Tiara and several other fillies in his class! But as time goes on, certain ponies start to get suspicious, the two begin to realize cannot hide their child’s status from the world forever. And to things worse, the Royal Guard and a certain cult begin to target the young Alicorn...
