Yes, it's been halfway. The 30th of January was technically the midway point on the dot. I'll fly home the 23rd of January, 2015. And tomorrow is my year mark. Weeeeeeird. Like Regidar said, it's all downhill from here. But in a... good way? Boh.

Really, do tell the wonderfolk that I love and miss them a lot, and I'm so grateful for the ones who have stuck around so far. That's amazing to me, I can barely wrap my head around it. Makes me all toasty inside, and that's good in this cold, rainy weather.

Glad to hear things are going so well for him! It feels so surreal that he's been gone an entire year. I feel like it was just yesterday he was talking about leaving and made that amazing goodbye video...
