The main six hold the Elements of Harmony: Loyalty, Laughter, Generosity, Honesty, Kindness, and Magic. But what about the possibility of there being other Element bearers? This group will help you find the answer. New Era is to expand on the idea that there are other Elements other than just those of Harmony.

Many of you may argue that this is a Chess Game of the Gods rip-off. I can assure you that it's not. We'll be doing things a bit differently here.

Send you're story to our admins below via google docs; they will all look it over before it is accepted. There must be at least three chapters with anywhere between 7,000-9,000 words.

Basic things to know:
-Any questions about New Era should be asked directly to Redwolf15 or Shadowflame.

-Any questions about changelings should be asked directly to Shadowflame, he'll be the expert on them. Redwolf15 can handle minotaurs, diamond dogs, and zebras. Darkened5ky can handle the supernatural like ghosts and vampires. Bronieman can handle Science, Robotics, and general Sci–Fi.

-New Era will follow along up to season three. Anything past will be considered non-canon in this universe.

-If you have a character from the show being in your story you must explain to us who it is and what they will do in a separate doc.

-If the character is not from Terra Admirationis (the planet Equestria is on) does it matter how he or she got there? Not really, your character can get there by any accepted method. Readwolf15's character, Jesse, was sent by Discord, while Shadowflame's character, Rowan, was sent by methods still unexplained. (So far).

-When you send you work to the admins make sure to tell them your Element, where and how your character got it from, what it can do by itself, and why the Element chose your character to be its bearer.

Characters:
-Does it matter what your character's species is? To a degree, yes. Your character can be human, human turned, native of Equestria, or something of your own design. But it has to be beatable and believable, it can not be some dragon-god-overlord-water-elemental-necromancer thing.

-Give us a brief summary as to what your character is, skills or abilities that are uncommon, strengths, weaknesses, companions (if any), distinguishing features, Element, size, weapons/tools, and any other information you feel that is needed.

-The character that the story is focused around does not have to be the Element bearer, it can be a secondary character. But the bearer MUST play a vital role in the story and must be around constantly. The bearer could even be your main character's antagonist if you want.

-If you have companions or plan an adding some you do not have to ask permission and see if it is okay to have that OC in your story. If it's something like a blind diamond dog, go right ahead. But if it's a demon cat, you should notify an admin.

Where does my story go?:
-The main focus is to create a world where one character from someone's story may interact and effect other characters from other authors stories in the Massive Collab. Admins who pre-read will be a little more tough on these stories than the Stand Alone's due to the fact that many others are contributing to the collab.

-Stand ALone's are fics that do not follow the Massice Collab group of New Era. Here you may have your own twists and ideas as long as there is an Element bearer. Any pre-existing stories with an Element Bearer can also be placed there.

-Regardless if it is a Stand Alone or part of the collab, all stories go into the main folder. Unfortunately you cannot have the best of both worlds of Stand Alone or Collab, each universe with it's pros and cons.

-This thread will inform you as to what Elements have been used, which author have taken it, whose character is the Bearer, what story you can find them in, and whether it's Collab or Stand Alone. Do not post your own threads without consulting an admin. If you have had an Element in mind but it is already taken by someone in the Collab, you may consult with them and ask permission to make
