Three reviews left. This is a short story that I became inspired to write during physics (don't worry, there's no math involved in the story.) and just had to write. I've done my best to take the advice that some of you have so graciously given me. Looking back on this, I can see some improvement from my earlier works and thank y'all so much. I still struggle with the whole "show don't tell" concept but I hope that I'm grasping it better.
