Anyone else here enjoying the rain we're getting here in Denver? Those of you who are in Denver, anyway.

I've been enjoying the rain, but I'm concerned about the people living in the flood zones. I don't think I know anybody in the affected areas personally, but still...

1738757 Where exactly are most of the zones at? I've heard over in Golden, Boulder, and down by where Bass Pro is at.

Boulder is having a rough time, there are a lot of roads closed in Aurora, and I heard that a whole town was cut off (Lyons, I think) from the rest of the world...

As a Southeast-ish Denverite, I've been enjoying the rain. Haven't heard much in regards to flood-zones. Here it's just been cool and wet.

1738937 Oh damn! That's some serious shit, I heard they were shutting down I25 today too. I got off school early today because they shut down campus at 4:00 for that reason.

1739017 I'm in the same position up here in Westminster.

I hadn't heard about I-25, but I know part of I-70 over on the east side of town got flooded.
Here's the list of closed roads from the Denver Post. It's pretty long...

1739150 OO damn, that's a few. Well, good luck. Hopefully shit doesn't come your guys' ways.

Thanks, same to you. I'm in Broomfield, and there's a section of road washed out towards the west side, but other than that, things are cool here.

1739372 Oh so you're kind of near where I am. Is it a commonly used road that got washed out?

1739381
I'm not sure. I don't think so, but it sure looks dramatic as hell.

Ehh, just a little water damage. It'll spot wash out.

Meanwhile up North in La Salle...
