Because, at first when watching it i thought, in my screwball fic, i'd have Screwball go back in time after learning a griffon wants a Cutie Mark to the time when in the fic The Dragon's Riddle, which has a reading by Illya Leonov on Youtube, if anyone's interested the dragon that was awaiting someone to get the riddle and she'd alter griffons so that, when Gabby learned her place, she'd get a cutie mark as part of a prophecy that would that have gilda suddenly get hers.... until i realized the spiny backed ponisaurs meant it just wouldn't make sense that that fic had a connection to canon in even the vague sense my fic is following.
