I have a bit of a contrarian streak, so I tried to come up with a harem fic that is real Twijack.

A story about Twilight and Applejack each being pursued by separate harems that do not include the other. Their relationship would begin as shared commiseration over "All these ponies are crazy!" before they begin to realize that they would prefer the other over any of the ponies chasing them. However, they hide it because they don't want to damage the refuge that is their friendship from the harem.
