totally didn't copypasta this from the AppleDash group or anything nope

What the title says. Here are the rules:

Someone starts off by posting a 100-500 word mini-fic about Applejack and Twi. At the end will be a one word prompt. If you would like to write a 100-500 word TwiJack mini-fic relating to that prompt within the next four hours, comment right away to claim that prompt. Post the story when you finish, and add a one word prompt at the end for the next people to claim.

Just to make sure everything is clear:

* The mini-fic can be in any style, any tag, AU, humanized, whatever. It can be a cute scene, a snippet of conversation, or an excerpt from an Equestrian history book. It's not expected to be preread or proofread, and if you've never written before that's just fine. Just try to keep it rated teen or lower and make sure it's 100-500 words of fiction about Applejack and Twi and it relates somehow to the prompt you claimed.

* Claim prompts with a quick post responding to the last post. Just the word "claimed" is fine. When you finish, make a post with the mini-fic and the next prompt.

* Your claim is valid for twenty-four hours, to keep someone from accidentally holding things up all day. After four hours, another person could post a claim for the same prompt. If you ran out of time, and no one else has claimed it, and you still want to write it, just go ahead and reclaim it.

* In the event that people become confused, and two fics are posted for the same prompt, the first one posted contains the official next prompt.

* Please include a one word prompt at the end of your fic. There are lots of words, and they can mean lots of things, and it's up to the next writer what they want to do with it.

If you'd like to play, I'll make the first prompt. After we have about ten (or so) prompts completed then whoever wants to can put it into a story and we'll just update that as we play on this forum.

Here's the first prompt, whoever is up for it.
Prompt: Music

3330233 Ah what the hay, I'll snag music, but does it have to be 100-500 or can it be longer?

3330544 Damn. Alrighty then.

Prompt: Music

Maybe Applejack should've thought this through some more. The annual Apple Family reunion was today and as a part of it there was to be a hoedown in the barn. She had Twilight come with since she was technically part of the Apple family now. Everything had been going smoothly with her marefriend getting along with almost everyone there. The only hole in it, however, was the dance. Twilight couldn't dance for her life, so when you mix Twilight's dancing with a good ol' barnyard dance it does not end well. Twilight was dancing out on the floor in her typical fashion drawing all sorts of awkward looks from the other Apples. Applejack decided to stop Twilight from embarrassing herself further in front of her family, but halfway across the floor she changed her mind and took position next to Twilight. She winked over at the players who changed the tone from relaxing and moderate to a fast and upbeat song. Everyone grabbed a partner and started spinning them around. Applejack grabbed Twilight doing the same. Twilight was stunned from the sudden intrusion, but when she saw Applejack, smiled and danced along with her, the music carrying the two lovers in it's rhythm.

Next Prompt: Advantage

Reclaiming? I hope i don't seem like a jerk, I just really want to write twijack and it's been a week so.

this ended up being 513 words according to my word count sorry it got a little over
Prompt: Advantage.

Twilight had planned this for weeks, and as always, she checked and double checked to make sure everything was perfect. The cake was to perfect standard, as one could always expect from Pinkie Pie, the decorations were absolutely marvelous, a tribute to Rarity's hard work, and the music just grand, courtesy of Fluttershy. And at the end of it all, Rainbow Dash would be performing a Sonic Rainboom to impress the prestige Canterlot audience. Princess Celestia had left her in charge of organising the Grand Galloping Gala this year, and she would not fail.
Applejack didn't mind that Twilight didn't exactly include her in the plans. The last time they went to the Gala, Applejack tried to sell some of her goods for some profit to help the family, and no doubt Twilight was thinking about that again. But this time Applejack had other plans, plans that she had to take advantage of now or she would miss the opportunity. No one else was more surprised than Rarity when Applejack came to her asking for a real nice looking dress, but she didn't say anything to anypony because Applejack asked her to. And when she visited Fluttershy's cottage for the best flowers, Fluttershy was more than happy to show Applejack the many gardens she had to offer. And when it came to advice, well there was only one pony she figured would help her.
There was only a few things left on Twilight's agenda and she would have them finished by mid morning, leaving her time to find a perfect dress. This was her first Gala as a princess and since she was hosting it, in Rarity's eyes, she had to look absolutely stunning. It was a little peculiar that Rarity chose a light shade of orange with yellow detailing for her gown colours, but she didn't question the fashionista. Perhaps it was the latest fashion, though she couldn't help questioning the odd smirks that Rainbow Dash kept throwing her way.
It was the night of the Gala, and Applejack was more nervous than a lamb getting sheared for the first time. The others were already at the Gala, as planned, and Applejack wasn't normally a pony to be late to anything, but now she understood Twilight's need for perfection and she couldn't stop the jitters in her stomach. A thousand questions raced through her mind, most of them doubts, and doubts of doubts, and what if all of this planning was for nothing?
Twilight stood alongside Princess Celestia for most of the evening, greeting ponies as she did last time and receiving the compliments with a quiet grace that did not exactly match Princess Celestia's though she tried.
But all of that composed dignity was lost when she saw one particular orange pony in a beautiful royal violet gown. A pony she knew well.
Applejack smiled and offered a slightly shaking bouquet of flowers to her princess. Princess Celestia watched on with a smile and nudged Twilight on with her wing.
When Applejack asked her to a dance, how could Twilight refuse?

Prompt: Chocolate
