Do the default bookshelves do anything special?

The Favorites, Read It Later, and Tracking bookshelves don’t do anything that other bookshelves can’t. They’re just a set of bookshelves to get you started, with some pre-set options to display the full range of what bookshelves can do. You’re more than free to delete or replace them if you want
