Two Worlds Intertwined

Part Two: Knowing Each Other

20 minutes later....

The end credits started to roll and the theme started playing, I closed the video window and rotated my chair towards Rainbow Dash's chair. She had a concerning look in her eyes, I couldn't tell what she was going to do next. I waited for her to make sense of what she just saw.

"Wait, so you've been spying on us?" she asked more aggressively.

I thought to myself. "I better explain this to her or we're gonna have a situation".

"No, this may sound weird...." I stuttered to tell the truth. "But in my world, you and your friends are fictional characters in a childrens TV show."

"What? Fictional? But I'm here aren't I?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yes, you are here, as I said before I am James, I live on Earth; you come from Equestria" I said to her "As to why I have paintings of you, I am an artist, I paint pictures of certain things. Why I paint you, is because you look.... cool and awesome."

"Cool and awesome? You're right there, James. Hey, since you're an artist, you mind painting the real me? I'll make it cooler, infact 20% cooler!" Rainbow Dash said enthusiastically with a smile on her face.

"Sure, I'll paint you, let me get my tools." I said while getting up "Follow me, my artroom is just up the hall!"

She flapped her wings and flew past me, ending up near my artroom down the hall.

"You have an odd way of walking" she chuckled as I walked down the hall.

"I'm human, a native species to Earth; we walk differently. You're more quicker than I thought, Rainbow".

"I'm quick alright, I'm the best flyer in Equestria!" she boasted and did the robot thing she did in "The Mysterious Mare Do Well".

I walked to the door labelled "Art Room" and opened it, I walked inside and turned on the light. The light revealed all of the room: hanging from the walls were my many artpieces from countryside backgrounds to protraits of artistic people that inspired me.

"Wow, for an artist, you got a lot of art." Rainbow Dash said as she walked in, brushing my leg as she did.

"It's a hobby, and it keeps me calm and pays well too." I responded as I sat down near my ansel and whistled.

She walked in after me and sat down on a spare chair near me. I got up and walked towards a container filled with my paint and other tools. I opened it and brought out a small wooden box filled with paint-tubes, brushes and paint trays, I walked back to the ansel and sat down; picking out several paint tubes and brushes.

"Well?" she asked

"Ok, wait a second. Art takes patience. Lets see here, cyan, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple" I said as I picked out the corresponding coloured tubes.

"Huh? Why did you say all those colours?" she asked inquisitively

"I can't paint you without the proper colours, cyan for your base colour and the rest for your mane and tail" I explained to her as I got some brushes and a palette.

"Why do you really paint me?" She asked

"Well, Earth isn't as colourful as Equestria. For example: Ponyville's buildings are brightly coloured, Earth's however are not, why I paint you, you're my favourite pony in the show."

""Thats cool with me, James" Rainbow Dash said, she blushed slighty

"You're welcome, now what do you want me to paint of you?" I asked her

She took her time deciding, but I didn't mind. My favourite pony in my world... However I had to remain proffesional and not go all brony over her. I set up the ansel with a fresh portrait and added all the paint-tube paint on the palette and took several brushes of different sizes. She spoke up and told me her painting idea.

"Sounds difficult, but I can handle anything!" I said boastfully

I heard a slight rumble in the room, knowing I ate before I knew she must be hungry. I turned to her and said "I know that sound, you hungry?" I asked her

"Yeah, you got any cupcakes? Rainbow Dash asked me

"I do infact, wait here I'll get some" I said to her

I walked into the kitchen and baked some cupcakes. I walked back and tossed her one. "Catch!" I yelled. She caught it and took a bite out of it. "You're reflexes are astonishing too" I added as we ate. We finished eating and I propped up the portrait again.

"Right, now lets paint!" I said to her. She had a smile on her face. I started painting
