Mother Pinkie Pie

Pinkie Pie and her children: The nightmare and the Sandwich!

"Mummy!" Pound Cake screamed as he was being swallowed up by the darkness in his nightmare about his late parents. It had been raining and was now slowing down to a halt. It was also midnight, and Pound's new mother, Pinkie 'Cake' Pie had just come to check on the foals to make sure they were all right. She had just missed Pound's nightmare by three minutes, and now Pound had to face the wrath of his mind's worries and fears....alone.
.........................
It was three years after night after Pinkie Pie became the Cake twin's mother. In her bed, she was sound asleep - in a very deep sleep. However, she can still think about her day while she is sleeping. Pinkie had taken the cake's surname and added to hers - she was now 'Pinkamena 'Pinkie' Diane Cake-Pie.' Ponies still called her Pinkie Pie, but now they knew that Pinkie was a part of another new family other than her friends. She was still upset at how the Cakes were around one minute - next minute - they were gone, unfairly taken by the frost. Pinkie had the same to being the babysitter all her life and acting like the twin's mother, and now she WAS their mother. Because this had happened so quickly, Pinkie was still surprised and not used to having her foals full time- but she was up to the challenge! :rainbowdetermined2:

Back in the foal's dream, Pound Cake was running through the Everfree Forest, unaware that he was running towards the monsters, not away from them. Pound finally stopped at a lone cave in the deepest part of these woods. He cantered to it carefully, making sure that there were no monsters, moving shadows or creepy plants in it. What he didn't know was that the creatures that were after him could appear and reappear in the darkness of the cave's own shadow. He then sat down and sighed, hoping that he had escaped the nightmarish creatures. Adventures, where you fight or run from cool but scary creatures, are no fun when it's real or you have NO idea how to stop them! Suddenly, the three figures that had been chasing Pound before appeared in front of him and were glowing. Two of them looked old and wrinkly as well as very familiar...TOO familiar... The third figure was a tall Pegasus stallion with a dark, curly and wild mane. He seemed to have red glowing eyes at first and seemed only a little familiar to Pound.
The creatures then growled and glowed even brighter to reveal nightmarish zombies with familiar figures. One of them was stout, skinny, and had an orange bow-tie. The second was plump, short, and had a white apron with pink highlights. The third looked a tainted white and now had Pound's brown eyes. That one towered over Pound even more than the other two did. They were all torn, bruised, or had cuts, scrapes, scars, were bloody; or were just beaten up in one way or another. Just to look at them make you want to vomit, run and hide, or be so frightened that you get eaten. They looked like they had come straight from the grave to haunt poor little Pound - which they had. Pound Cake wanted to do all of the previous options at that moment.
"Hello, little one...", the Pegasus, the youngest one of the group, spoke up in a creepy, slightly demonic voice that sounded similar to Pound's own cute voice; most likely because they were doppelganger opposites- Pound's voice was almost angelic compared to the zombie's one! "I trust you know who you are staring at....?" The white one spoke slowly and had a vibe that made Pound know that he was going to start a fight by getting Pound's fear and anger levels up. He felt like he was going to be eaten, torn apart, beaten up, or all of the above at that moment.
"Mum? Dad? Mmm....m...ME?!" Pound Cake asked, shocked to see himself from the future. "Where's Pumpkin? She should be here - we dream the same dreams".
"Oh...well, I don't know about YOUR sister, but I know that MY sister...couldn't make it here I'm afraid", evil Pound explained, "She got attacked by a Timberwolf and didn't come out of its lair..."
"WHAT?!" Pound screamed and tackled his older self. "You must be lying...and those aren't really my parents! Besides... my sister AND your sister are powerful enough to beat one Timberwolf!"
"Oh, but I am telling the truth BABY Pound," evil Pound retorted while changing his ongoing (and almost never ending) smirk into a frown, "I am telling the truth as much as we have brown hair! Times change for friends AND family! You rejected your parents, and now we are here to take revenge."
"I am NOT a baby anymore!! YOU may have rejected YOUR parents..." Pound answered, "But I didn't! STOP lying!!"
"Whatever..., believe what you wish!" The stallion responded. He then cackled with an ear-piercing volume and readied an attack. The pegasis stallion had taunted so many times that Pound Cake had had ENOUGH!
The duo then rolled around on the cave floor and fought. It only took two minutes for Pound to become overpowered. "Ooof!!" Pound grunted as he was suddenly crushed against the cave wall. Evil Pound was about to make sure that his kind doppelganger was erased from history - until there was a teleporting "poof" that made the zombie's smirks turn into frowns. There shouldn't be anypony else here!
That's what the zombies thought, but Auntie Pinkie Pie-Cake was here on the scene - ready to destroy whoever interrupted her sweet dream to torment her son. Pinkie first looked at the enemies in front of her. She then thought a long conversation in her head.
Wow...a shadow pony teleported me from my mind to here to save Pound from a nightmare...good grief! Geez, you'd think that it would be easy to deal with dreams since it's part of your imagination, but mane...it's not! Sigh...another one of THESE disturbing dreams...sheesh, you'd think my kids would be safe from these with me around...and they ARE!
She then lunged at the trio and kicked them in the stomachs so hard that their bodies didn't even have time to think about breathing again. "YAAAAAAAAAARG!" They screamed, and evil Pound shot one last horrid look at his past young self.
"I hate you bad Pound...Poundzilla! You must be punished for your sins, so that's right!" Pound yelled, "Don't mess with MUMMY PIE!!" Pinkie then brushed Pound off and kissed him on the head.
"Are you alright Pound Cake?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine..." Pound Cake explained, rubbing his aching back. The zombies then disappeared by fading away. "Thank you for saving my life; this dream could have been real."
"It IS real!" Pinkie exclaimed, hugging Pound tightly. "That's why I came even though I was in an incredibly deep sleep. Be careful and call me next time - I'll save you no matter how tired I am!"
"Thanks, mum...." Pound Cake replied.
"You're welcome son, and it's late now, so we'll have to explain all this to your sister in the morning."

Pound Pie woke up in a pool of cold sweat. He was still warm on the outside and cold on the inside. He only had good dreams for the rest of the night ever since his mother had saved him, though he was still shaken up by his nightmarish experience. Pumpkin had an awesome night of sleep but was troubled when she heard Pound's groans in her sleep. However, her subconscious thought he could handle it so she didn't bother waking up or going in his dream.
Pinkie Pie came up with pancakes in bed and gave Pound a little more on his plate. It was a Saturday so the kids could sleep in and play later. After Pound and Pinkie told Pumpkin about Pound's experience last night, she was a bit skeptical. "Are you sure you weren't just worried about a big test, and you thought it was our old parents who were gonna be upset at you?" Pumpkin asked.
Pound gave his twin the stink eye. "Both of you usually have the same dreams, but this was an exception. If he says he had a nightmare THIS bad...you better believe him!" Pinkie screamed at her child. Pumpkin stared at her brother and her expression softened.
"OK then, but he must be more afraid than I am that we lost our parents. Maybe your being's trying to tell you something important." Pumpkin Cake realized.
Pinkie then explained that she actually saved Pound from the nightmare and that she killed the zombies that were in it so they may not ever show up again. Pumpkin giggled at the notion of Pinkie having to save her brother but preceded to eat her pancakes to avoid the increasing glares from her family.
The next day, the twins woke up at exactly the same moment. It would be time to be at church in one and a half hours. The twins had slept all day yesterday so that Pound could catch up on some sleep from the night before. The twins had awoken refreshed and ready for action. The opening ceremony for the ponyville church was now in session and the twins wanted to be the first ponies to be there. It only has an early service so far, so they had to clean up their groggy eyes, tangled mane, and messy tails.
After 30 minutes, they were now wearing their Sunday best pink and blue set bow-ties and were raring to dash out the door, when their mum called out to them. "Wait a minute kids, Cheese Sandwich is coming with us - we need to wait for him." The twins groaned, but it only took a minute for the stallion in question to arrive.
He greeted the three ponies, kissed Pinkie on the cheek while putting a flower in her mane to go with her blue dress, then hugged the twins. Cheese had a suit on that made him look dashing, especially to Pinkie Pie. It was now 9:25 am - service started at 10 and it takes 30 minutes to trot there and get a good seat.
The church celebration would be after service as well...they defiantly couldn't miss THAT!! The twins politely shared the news with the love-struck adults by yelling, "The time! The time! Hurry up; we're gonna be late!" At them. Cheese then used the restroom for one and a half minutes...suspicious! Maybe he wasn't using the bathroom after all.... Afterwards, the ponies got a move on and enjoyed service.
They just about made it to be the first ones there and meet the kind pastor. In service, they learned about the true Creator, and how He had created humans, ponies, Princess Celestia's mother and all of the universes. The family became members and enjoyed the after a service celebration. After arriving home with the blushing adults, (they had kissed in front of the kids after service), the twins wondered why Cheese was hanging around with Pinkie Pie so often. That evening, the adults were on a "date", planning some more parties together and talking "schmoopy-doo, goo-goo ga-ga" talk over each other.
Finally, at 10 o'clock PM, Cheese Sandwich got on one knee and professed his love to Pinkie Pie. "'Pinkamena Diane Cake Pie', Pinkie Pie," he started, "I know that for years we have only been friends....up until today...we kissed after we left the church in front of the twins haha!" He then blushed, then turned his attention to a thought from a deep part of his past. "You saved me from a future of depression, fear, sadness, anxiety, and all the bad feelings! I had a rough life as you did - except without a kind, loving, and supportive family. I was shyer than you ever were, and I would probably have been cast out of the house and be living in a deep, dark ditch somewhere. You gave me happiness and excitement in my life - you were someone who cared for me." Cheese then wiped some straying tears off of his cheeks, as did Pinkie. Cheese then took a deep breath, then continued.
"Through all this, I was wondering, we now have our own partnered party business, how about we make it and looking after the foals a full-time partnership? So, what do you say? Make this CheesePie ship come to reality? Do you love me? Ms. Pie...would...*gulp*...would you...marry me?"
Pinkie thought for a moment, causing suspense, then when she saw her 'soon-to-be-a-finance-in-a-second's' adorable worried puppy-dog eyes, and yelled "YES!", and they hugged and kissed; beaming to tell their kids the great news! They now looked forward to the wedding. Right before he forgot, Cheese slipped a beautiful ring with a pink heart diamond on Pinkie Pie's hoof. It was made for earth ponies and pegasi because there is a big ring holding up the engagement ring so the pony can put her hoof it; unicorns can just put 'em on their horns. Finance Pinkie was beaming with joy and excitement - their ship is not just a fanfic!
While the parents were starry-eyed, (and about to head home in 15 minutes), the twins were back at home and still weren't ready for bed because they had had a party with each other because the adults were out so late. Even though they knew it was wrong, Pound was snooping through his mother's room trying to find more evidence on the CheesePie ship. He finally found it - an engagement ring box! Pound then realized that Cheese had left it that morning when he pretended to go to the "bathroom" for such a short time before they had gone to church. If Pinkie were going to say "no" to Cheese, the box would have been there to help Pinkie change her mind and say "yes" - though the twins knew she WOULD say yes!
Back at the Pink gingerbread house, Pound Cake was freighting over the truth of the situation. "Pumpkin Pie...how much do you like Mr. Cheese?" Pound asked his sister.
She replied, "What do you mean? He's a great guy! Um...I guess...I like him enough for him to stay as a brother or as Mummy's boyfriend...why?"
"Well guess what?" Pound answered, "We aren't 'Cakes,' or even 'Pies' anymore...we are about to become 'Sandwiches'! If you think that he is a cool dude, then that's great! Since you like him so much Pumpkin Cake, you are going to be seeing Mr. Cheese a lot more often now...'cause he's gonna be our DADDY!!!"
Pumpkin Cake blinked, realizing what her crazy brother had just said. She screamed, "What?! Do you mean...he's gonna be...our...*gulp*...Daddy Cheese?!"

WHAT?!
