Celestia's sun casts over Equestria in its glorious rays of sunshine. Once the sun made its way in the sky, the rays slowly covered the many homes in the village named Ponyville.
Which of course sets a beautiful morning for the residents of Ponyville. One by one, ponies from different parts of the village slowly some up from their slumber, thanks to a certain moon princess. Greeting was surely welcome, as ponies welcomed other with a simple 'Good morning' or 'Hello.'
In the town of Ponyville sits a huge crystal like castle, with colors such as blue and purple. Speaking of the color purple, this castle is accompanied by an alicorn and dragon of the mentioned hue.
Within a bedroom of this castle, an alicorn princess sleeps peacefully on the bed. This pony princess goes by the name or title of Princess Twilight Sparkle. As she sleeps in the bed, a knock from her bedroom door stirs Twilight from her slumber.
"Huh..? Oh, what is it Spike..?" Twilight yawns out to her number one assistant.
"Twilight! Come over here! Something's wrong with Ponyville!" Her number one assistant said frantically.
Curious as to what her dragon friend had just said, Twilight got out of her bed and went to open the door. Shortly after opening the door, Twilight can see Spike looking outside at the balcony window.
"Spike? What is going on?" Twilight worryingly said, not paying attention to the village below.
"Look! Something is messed up in Ponyville!" Spike pointed at the mentioned village.
Wanting to know what Spike is so worried about, Twilight looked up from her assistant and grew side eyes from the sight of her town.
Never in her life has Twilght seen something so strange happen.
Ponies are walking backwards, like as if time has just reversed. Not only that, but the manes and tails of the ponies keep disappearing and reappearing!
"W-what is going on with the ponies?!" Twilight spoke with worry and confusion.
"I'm not sure Twilight! But I think you should check on them to see what's wrong." Spike urged his friend.
"Alright. Spike, stay here. Ill go check on the ponies." After Twilight said this, she flew off the balcony and towards the ponies.
Twilight landed on the ground, still seeing the manes and tails of Ponyville's residents flicker on and off. Spoting one random stallion, she called out for him.
"Excuse me mister?" Twilight called out to the stallion, but gave no response to Twilight's call.
Wondering why the stallion would ignore her at a scene like this, Twilight called out to him once again while walking towards the unreasonable stallion.
"Mister, are you okay?!" Twilight called out to him again, but still got nothing in return. Once she got in talking distance, she turned his head at hers.
"Are you-!" Twilight has been cut off however, as the stallion she faced...had no face!
Twilight screamed out of panic, looking around for help. But everybody near by all 'faced' towards Twilight, giving her a chilling moment.
"What's wrong with all of you?!? What happened?!?" Twilight yelled out her response, but only made the ponies to walk towards her in a creepy way.
"I need to see the mayor about this!" Twilight said to nopony in particular, before flying towards the heart of Ponyville. Everywhere Twilight looked, faceless ponies would all stare at her.
Then, ponies all started to pull out a strange object from seemingly out of nowhere. A long cylinder object was set onto each ponies shoulder, aiming at Twilight. Once ready, they pulled on the trigger on the bottom of the object and fired an explosive looking warhead straight for Twilight.
Out of panic, Twilight swerved left and right with each warhead missing her. The warheads exploded with each contact they made, whether it was a house or the ground, it got obliterated.
"WHAT'S GOING ON?!?" Twilight yelled out of panic and confusion. Finally spoting Mayor Mare's building, Twilight sped towards the door, opening and closing it once inside.
"Mayor! Something's wrong with Ponyville! Everypony is walking backwards and they all don't have any faces! And then they all for some reason started firing explosives at me!" Twilight yelled out to the Mayor, if she could find her that is.
"Um...Mayor? Are you here?" Twilight asked out loud, hopefully getting a response from the dark room she stands in.
"Over here Twilight! Quick!" The Mayor yelled out to Twilight from above, in which the alicorn gave her a confused look.
"Mayor Mare? How did you-"
"Shh! There's no time! Come over here Twilight!" The Mayor urged for her to hurry.
Not being one to being rude, Twilight flew upwards to the Mayor. Upon further inspection, the Mayor seemed to grow a town and wings.
"M-mayor?!? H-how did you become an alicorn?!?" Twilight said out of confusion, only for the Mayor to shush her again.
"Shh! Listen, what's important right now are the faceless ponies outside that want to explode us with those RPG's, right?" The Mayor questioned Twilight.
"What are RP-"
"Right! So, here's the plan!" The Mayor casted a big red button from her alicorn horn.
"Mayor..? What is that your holding?" Twilight ushered the Mayor to answer.
"Why, a big red button of course! Now Twilight, I want you to push this button." The Mayor told Twilight in an orderly way.
"B-but aren't big red buttons go kaboom...?!?" Twilight panicked as the red button gave her a weird feeling of death.
"Listen Twilight...out of all of my years of me living, this is surely the most important. And I want to let you know Twilight that you WILL press this button!" The Mayor said with orderly passion.
Twilight sighed.
"Okay...here it goes..!" Twilight took away the button from Mayor Mate's grasp. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes and forced her hold upon the button...

Twilight opened her eyes and met the morning sky. Out of confusion, she looked around Ponyville, spotting its normal ponies and greeting each pony gave. Twilight sighed.
"Um...Twilight? Are you okay? You've been standing there for almost ten minutes now." Spike asked Twilight out of worry from Twilight side.
"Oh...yeah. I'm okay..." Twilight looked out towards Ponyville, happy that the village has returned to its normal and happy state.
